Semi- and unexplored potential producing areas in the Rocky Mountains are reviewed and their geologic attributes and geologic prejudices are discussed. The exploration and economic history of the development of some of the oil- and gas-producing areas are reviewed. Suggestions are made about the future for Rocky Mountain geology, exploration, and development.
