About 1,100 feet of Paleozoic rocks ranging from Middle Pennsylvanian(?) to Permian in age are exposed in Straight Wash Canyon on the San Rafael Swell in central Utah. These rocks are included in the Hermosa(?) Formation, Elephant Canyon Formation of Baars (1962), the Coconino Sandstone, and the Kaibab Limestone.
