Title: Oil and Gas Developments in Israel in 1982

Abstract:

Most of the sedimentary area of Israel is under exploration license or other petroleum rights. Oil production began at Zuk Tamrur field. Shallow gas production was initiated in the coastal plain and in the Jordan-Dead Sea rift. Twenty-two wells, totalling 38,660 m, were drilled in 1982, and 888 line-km of seismic lines were run.
