Abstract
Interpretations of Two Associated Magnetic Anomalies in the Shaunavon Area, Saskatchewan
ABSTRACT
A reconnaissance aeromagnetic survey flown in 1949 indicated the presence of two closely associated magnetic anomalies on the periphery of the Bowdoin Dome in Southwestern Saskatchewan. In order to obtain further resolution a ground magnetometer survey was conducted during the summer of 1963. Except for minor details, the features as originally mapped were largely confirmed.
A quantitative analysis of the anomalies suggest 300 to 400 ft. of local relief on the Precambrian basement.
