Devonian of Malaya and Burma

Klaus J. Muller

Abstract

Devonian rocks seem to be widespread in Malaya and Burma, but have not yet been recognized in Thailand. Due to deep weathering, poor preservation, and lack of detailed investigations in most areas the fossil record is quite spotty as yet, but contains representatives of all stages of the system. It is much too early for an analysis of palaeogeography and fades relations. Therefore, this account gives a description of the fossil localities only.
