Abstract
Egg-Siting (or) First Jurassic Dinosaur Egg from Emery County, Utah
Abstract
Dinosaur eggs from the Jurassic Morrison Formation were first reported from three separate localities in Colorado; however, almost coincidentally the discovery of a single egg was made at the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry in the Brushy Basin Member of the Morrison Formation of Emery County in east-central Utah. The egg was unique for three reasons: Being the only such evidence found in that quarry, showing signs of pathology, and containing what appears to be the preserved remains of a dinosaur embryo.
