Since its establishment in 1966, the Department of Previous HitGeologyNext Hit in Kuwait University has played a major role in providing the oil industry in Kuwait with qualified geologists. The Department offers a B.Sc (Hons.) Previous HitGeologyNext Hit course of four years' duration, which currently attracts about 160 students. The geological content of the course increases year-by-year. The first two years provide a general geological background, while the last two include more advanced courses. A wide range of subjects is available, including micropaleontology, stratigraphy, structural Previous HitgeologyNext Hit, geophysics, geochemistry, sedimentology, petroleum Previous HitgeologyNext Hit, igneous and metamorphic studies, and the regional Previous HitgeologyNext Hit of the Arabian Peninsula. Optional courses include plate-tectonics, physical Previous HitgeologyNext Hit, environmental Previous HitgeologyNext Hit, marine Previous HitgeologyNext Hit, and engineering Previous HitgeologyTop.
