Ground-Water Contamination

ABSTRACT

Because ground water occurs in pores between grains and in fractures and cavities, once it is contaminated, it can be very difficult to clean up. To prevent contamination, we need to identify potential sources of pollution and then identify the means by which those contaminants migrate.
