Abstract
Doyle Field Sycamore Pool
ABSTRACT
Doyle Field is located in the Southern Oklahoma fold belt, in Stephens County, Oklahoma. The Sycamore Formation is a deeper pool objective whose development began with the completion of the Texaco Inc. Hattie Harrell C-1 well in 1981. Gas and condensate are produced from the Sycamore Formation. The Sycamore Formation is a calcareous sandstone in this area. Doyle Field is a highly faulted anticline that developed primarily in Pennsylvanian time. Several phases of transpressional motion summed to form the Doyle Field structure, which is interpreted here to be a good example of a flower structure.
