Some Features Of Modern Beach Sediments

ABSTRACT
Studies of selected tidal flats on the Maine coast give opportunity to observe a variety of sedimentary features in the making. Varieties of ripple mark, rill mark, grain size distribution, beach chutes with "flow" marks, mounds, mud pebbles, and primary lineation are figured and briefly discussed.
