Abstract
Abstract: Geology of the Moon and Meteorites
By
Our knowledge of the lunar surface has progressed greatly with the
advent of high resolution photography from impacted, orbital and soft
landed spacecraft. Conventional photo-geologic techniques have been used
to construct "geological" maps of the lunar surface. Although much
information has been obtained regarding the topography and surface features
of the Moon, little is known regarding the bulk composition or
composition of surface rocks. Some meteorites must originate from the
lunar surface. The study of these objects is a logical preparation for
analysis of lunar materials. End_of_Record - Last_Page 16--------
