Abstract
Abstract: Got Good Data? Understanding Laboratory Data for TRRP DUS Workshop
ALS Laboratory Group
The Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP) administered by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality requires that laboratory data are reviewed and a Data Usability Summary (DUS) is generated. The DUS ensures that data are useable for the intended purpose and identifies any concerns for bias in the data. The DUS summarizes and documents the laboratory results and the review.
This
interactive
workshop will help data users
understand TRRP Reportable Data concepts
and some Supporting Data concepts.
Examples will be presented for data generation and detailed
definitions are discussed. Workshop review and discussion will
include TRRP nomenclature (MQL, SDL, LRC, J and U Data
Qualifiers, etc), analytical calibration, laboratory quality control
(QC) samples and laboratory QC procedures. All of these
concepts are essential for understanding potential analytical bias
associated with laboratory results.
