Abstract:
Geothermal
Breakthroughs: When, Where and Why?
Geothermal
is considered the oldest start-up in the world, yet the time to scale seems to be right now: the world has a low-carbon goal to achieve, country governments are building back greener and renewable
energy
is becoming cheaper than fossil-fuels. In this presentation; Marit Brommer, Executive Director at the International
Geothermal
Association, will tell the
geothermal
story by looking into trends to watch and potential
geothermal
breakthroughs to come. She will talk about when, where and why
geothermal
energy
may be the hottest projects in the years to come.
