Abstract:

This article is a theoretical and practical explanation of the application of geo-electric methods in oil fields. If favorable subsurface conditions exist, valuable results can be obtained by using several methods in combination. Close cooperation with the geologist is of utmost importance. Four examples of practical, successful work in oil fields of Germany, Poland, and Roumania are given.
