Title: Developments in Atlantic Coastal States Between New Jersey and South Carolina in 1950

Abstract:

Activity on the Coastal Plain was limited to two wells drilled in North Carolina and two in South Carolina; all were dry. Three wells were drilled in Garrett County, Maryland; one produced gas and two were dry. Activity increased in western Virginia with 27 new wells completed, 13 producing gas, 2 oil, the remainder being dry holes.
