Correlation of the Cretaceous formation in eastern Montana and the Black Hills (South Dakota and Wyoming) section is reviewed, and certain correlations are extended to the eastern and southern sides of the Williston basin.
Areal distribution and facies changes within some of the units are discussed in detail.
