Title: Flora Formation (Upper Cretaceous) of Northern Bolivia

Abstract:

The Flora Formation of northern Bolivia is formally named and described. This formation consists largely of varicolored sandstones and conglomerates with an over-all thickness of 240 meters in the type section which is described in detail. The age of the Flora Formation, based on Charophyta, is Upper Cretaceous--probably very near the top of the Cretaceous.
