Title: Oil and Gas Developments in Israel in 1989

Abstract:

The area under petroleum rights in 1989 decreased 27% from 1988. Oil production in 1989 declined 17.6% to 111,800 bbl, and gas production declined 8.2% to 1343 mmcf. Drilling totaled 9939 m (32,608 ft), a 3-fold increase from 1988; 996 km (619 mi) of seismic lines were run, of which 636 km (395 mi) were offshore.
