A Glauconitic Unit in the Fernie Group North of Jasper Park

ABSTRACT
A unit consisting of green glauconitic sandstones and dark green shale occurs in the lower part of the Fernie group immediately to the north of Jasper Park. A glauconitic zone has not been hitherto described in the Fernie group north of the Bow River and no glauconitic beds at all have been previously described in the lower Fernie.
