A Lower Permian Fusulinid Fauna from Wapiti Lake, B.C.

ABSTRACT
A Lower Permian fusulinid, Schwagerina emaciata (Beede), is described. This fauna occurs in beds which bear lithological affinities to the Norquay formation of the Banff area, and has been traced southwards to the Narraway River. The biofacies evidently has its southerly limit somewhere between the Narraway and the Jasper area, where no fusulinids have yet been found.
