Subsurface Mineral Occurrences: Barite in Northeastern British Columbia

ABSTRACT

Barite has been identified in veins in Permo-Pennsylvanian (?) dolomite 32 feet below the base of the Triassic in the Fort St. John area, and has been observed in Mississippian (?) brecciated dolomite 9 to 15 feet below the base of the Triassic in the Kahntah River area.
