Underground Storage--The Liquid Petroleum Gas Industry's Stabilizer
Dan T. McDonald
ABSTRACT
Because of seasonable demand it is necessary to store liquid petroleum gas. The most economical methods of storing are subsurface man-made caverns, of two types, mined and leached. Construction and operation of the storage carvern near Hughenden, Alberta, leached out of the Elk Point salt beds, are described.
