Some Algae from the Swan Hills Reef

ABSTRACT
Species of Parachaetetes occur in skeletal calcirudites of the main organic lattice of the Swan Hills reef. Girvanella is present in the pelleted lagoonal lime-muds. The algae indicate shallow-water environments. They were probably more important than is generally realised in contributing to the development of the reef.
