ABSTRACT

Detailed studies of cross-stratification, pebble imbrication, mineralogy, textures, phenoclast size, and individual mineral size all indicate a single paleocurrent direction within the Tertiary Allenby Formation. It is concluded that the paleocurrents were in a southerly direction, and that the main source of the sediments was the Osprey Lake Intrusion.
