ABSTRACT

The Currie Field (Smackover) lies along the Mexia-Talco fault system in the southwestern part of Navarro County near the intersection of Navarro, Freestone and Limestone Counties (Fig. 1). The field is the result of hydrocarbon accumulation along the upthrown side of up-tothe- basin faults.
