ABSTRACT

The Smackover Formation (Upper Jurassic) in northeast Texas is a carbonate sequence which has been extensively dolomitized. Dolomite is early diagenetic and formed from Previous HitseepageTop reflux of brines from overlying Buckner anhydrite beds.
