Abstract
Southwest Muldoon Field Fayette County, Texas
Lloyd J. Ryman (1)
ABSTRACT
The Southwest Muldoon Field is a fault closure discovered in 1950 following surface work and core drill. Three producing sand members between 2150 and 2350 feet have been developed. The uppermost sand is the Arnim-1 of the Lower Reklaw and the lower two sands, designated the Steinhauser and Drenner, are of the Carrizo formation. Permeability barriers and separated small closures provide for several reservoirs. Cumulative production from the 24 wells drilled to May 1954 is 450,594 barrels with the Steinhauser sand producing the major portion of this amount.
