ABSTRACT
The Cook Field, discovered by Argo Oil Corporation in 1959, produces from the Lower Wilcox (Eocene) sands. The structure is anticlinal in configuration occuring between two normal down-to-the-coast faults. There are seven wells in the field which have proven five separate gas-condensate reservoirs. All wells are presently shut-in awaiting market facilities.
