ABSTRACT
Colgrade Field, located in the northeast part of Winn Parish, Louisiana, is one of a number of fields producing from the top of the Wilcox. The oil accumulation is a classical example of a stratigraphic trap. Over 2 million barrels of oil have been produced from the 200 plus wells completed in this shallow 1350 foot reservoir. The production has been relatively trouble-free up until the present time.
