Reinstatement of Nummilites Heilprini Hankten, 1886

ABSTRACT
The foraminiferid Nummulites heilprini Hantken is shown to be a senior synonym for Operculina trinitatensis Nuttall and Camerina jacksonensis Gravell and Hanna. The test morphology of N. heilprini is quantitatively and qualitatively different from N. willcoxi Heilprin, the first reported American nummulite.
