ABSTRACT

In a 500 hundred square mile area of the Gulf of Mexico off the Texas coast, geological, gravity, magnetic, seismic and surface geochemical data were closely examined and an integrated interpretation produced in an effort to better understand the information contribution of each method, to attempt to improve the visualization of the physical makeup of the subsurface and thereby increase exploration efficiency in the region. The various data are presented in profile and contour form along with the integrated interpretation and a discussion of survey parameters, procedures, results and conclusions.
