Abstract
Where Time Stands Still and Dinosaurs Roam
Abstract
“Like being caught in a time-warp” is the way some visitors describe their visit to the Utah Field House of Natural History State Park and Dinosaur Gardens in Vernal. The Field House collects, preserves, exhibits, and interprets fossils and other objects of natural history interest from the Uinta Mountains and Uinta Basin region.
Established in 1948, the Museum has provided a glimpse of the unique Uinta region to visitors from all over the world. The Field House, part of the Utah Division of Parks and Recreation, continues today to provide education, scientific interest, and the answers to many questions from thousands of visitors each year.
