Abstract
Methods of Parsimonious Deconvolution (Claerbout, 1977) and Minimum Entropy Deconvolution (Wiggins, 1977) are implemented to extract source wavelets from the data. These techniques together with refinded conventional processing form the bases of modern high resolution seismic data processing. Examples from land and marine data are given.
