Abstract
Structure of the Eastern Part of the Mill Creek Syncline
ABSTRACT
The Arbuckle Mountains are basically characterized by a large amount of vertical uplift, but recently several geologists have proposed that there may be a component of strike-slip present in the Arbuckle Mountains. The purpose of this study is to compare and contrast the deformational structures of the Eastern part of the Mill Creek Syncline with theoretical fault models and examples of other areas which show normal faulting, thrust faulting, and strike-slip faulting.
