Sediments of Oki Bank in the Japanese Sea

ABSTRACT

A large number of samples from Oki Bank in the Japanese Sea show that it is composed of Tertiary diatomaceous earth mantled by a thin layer of sand and mud in which Tertiary and pre-Tertiary gravels are embedded.
