Abstract
Comparison of Phi Percentile Deviations
William F. Tanner
ABSTRACT
Any phi percentile measure of deviation can be constructed according to Dk = 1/k (Pa - Pb), where Pa and Pb are selected percentiles, and k is the number of standard deviations involved and is dependent on a and b. Measures constructed in this fashion are directly comparable with each other.
As a measure of maximum homogeneity, one can use the maximum value of Dk.
