Mass Movements in Permian Rocks of Trans-Pecos Texas
J. Keith Rigby
ABSTRACT
Excellent examples of submarine toreva blocks, glide or slump folds, debris avalanches, and turbidity current deposits are exposed in the Permian rocks of the Guadalupe, Delaware, and Chinati Mountains. These structures are most common along the distal edge of reef talus that rims the Delaware and Marfa Basins.
