Tables for the Determination of Sphericity and Shape of Rock Particles

ABSTRACT
The sphericity and shape tables are derived from Krumbein's intercept method and the Zingg classification of shape. Until the present time determination of sphericity and shape values by the intercept method required a manual plot of data on a sphericity chart. Use of the tables eliminates the manual plot and increases the speed of determining the desired values.
