Improved Method for Studying Carbonate Rocks in Thin Sections: NOTES

ABSTRACT
Thin sections are made in the normal way, but the cover glass is left off so that the carbonate rock slice can be treated with various reagents which facilitates identification of non-carbonate constituents.
