Prophylactic Separation of Heavy Minerals

A method is proposed for separation of heavy minerals that eliminates the need for dry ice or liquified gas in mineral recovery. The technique consists of using a rubber contraceptive device inserted into the centrifuge tube. The technique is rapid and inexpensive.
