Abstract:
The Southwest Randlett field, discovered in May 1947, is located in southwestern Cotton County, Oklahoma. The principle producing member is the Thomas sandstone of the Cisco group found at approximately 1,600 feet. The structure of the field is a gently folded, east-west trending symmetrical anticline with approximately 60 feet of effective closure. Currently, there are 46 wells producing about 200 barrels of oil per day. Cumulative production to July 31, 1953, was 744,683 barrels of oil.
