Only one gas well in Saskatchewan produces nonassociated natural gas from strata of the Paleozoic Era. The well is in the Antelope pool, straddling the Saskatchewan-Alberta border, and produces at a rate of 3 million cu ft a day. In addition, approximately 17 million cu ft a day of dissolved gas is gathered in the production of oil from the Mississippian in southeast Saskatchewan.
