ABSTRACT

Onshore China has more than 20 major sedimentary Previous HitbasinsNext Hit. Significant oil production is currently limited to only three Previous HitbasinsNext Hit--Songliao, Bohaiwan, and Junggar. Exploration results in some of the other onshore Previous HitbasinsNext Hit have been disappointing; in others, activities have been limited because of their remoteness. This paper focuses primarily on the Junggar and Tarim Previous HitBasinsTop because of their large size and potential for significant oil and gas discoveries.
