ABSTRACT

The Veracruz Basin occurs along the southwest margin of the Previous HitGulfNext Hit of Previous HitMexicoNext Hit. It is bounded on the north by the Trans-Mexican volcanic belt, on the west by the Sierra Zongolica fold-thrust belt, and on the south by the Saline Basin, and it is separated from the Previous HitGulfNext Hit of Previous HitMexicoTop by structural highs associated with the Los Tuxtlas and Anegada Volcanoes.
