Abstract:

The application and synthesis of geology, geophysics, and geomorphology, including Landsat imagery, support the conclusion that distributions of Circum-Pacific mineral and energy resources are underlain by a common fundamental structural pattern. Special treatment of earth data shows that ingredients of the pattern are repeated from place to place, and at different orders of magnitude, either separately or in combination. Their spatial association with known resource deposits emphasizes the potential use of fundamental structural projections in future resource exploration.
