Abstract: Significant Wells—Val Verde Basin—1959 to 1982
Introduction
The table is a chronologic compilation, with only limited editing, of the wells, in or near the Val Verde Basin, listed in the Annual Development Issues of the AAPG Bulletin for the years 1959 to 1982. The 1982 listing has not yet been published. An accompanying map shows the approximate location of each well. Its index number is keyed to the table; for example, well 74-2 is the second well listed for 1974. Geology shown on the map is one interpretation from numerous sources but probably includes what most geologists now consider to be the Val Verde Basin.
