Title: Developments in Atlantic Coastal States Between New Jersey and South Carolina in 1959

Abstract:

Four new producing wells were drilled in the Accident gas field in Garrett County, Maryland. Eight new producing wells were completed in southwestern Virginia, located in Buchanan, Dickenson, and Wise counties. There was no drilling in the old Rose Hill oil field of Lee County, Virginia. Eleven oil tests were drilled on the Coastal Plain of North Carolina, all of which were dry.
