West-east seismic line illustrating the westerly pinch out of Upper Jurassic sequences that lead to the creation of a major stratigraphic trap that houses the Buzzard field (Ray et al., 2010; Taylor et al., 2020), the main sandstone reservoirs for which are encased within the Kimmeridge Clay Formation source rock and seal. Although immature at Buzzard itself, the Kimmeridge Clay is mature to the east and charge of the stratigraphic trap occurs because the reservoir sandstones dip their toes into the kitchen area.
