Street Field, Jack County, Texas

Charles A. Martin

Abstract

Street field in northwest Jack County is in an area of well-established multiple pays. The dominant and probably the controlling structural feature for much of the sedimentation in the field is an oil productive Mississippian limestone buildup. The Street field was developed around the north flank of the Ada field and established four new pay intervals: (1) the 2700 foot Strawn sandstone; (2) the Caddo limestone; (3) the Conglomerate; and (4) the Marble Falls.
