Productive Core Analysis Characteristics of Carbonate Rocks in the Four Corners Area

Abstract
In the Four Corners area there are three different types of carbonate porosity: algal. oomoldic, and dolomitic. Each type has different core analysis characteristics, which are tabulated in this paper. A knowledge of the type of porosity and its specific core analysis characteristics aids in predicting the ultimate recovery of a carbonate reservoir.
